(Photo by Danielle Sweeney)The Central Avenue Streetscape & Harbor Point Connector Bridge Project is critical to the further development of and access to Harbor Point. When fully developed, Harbor Point development is expected to contain three million square feet of residential and commercial buildings and a significant public open space. Currently, the only way to reach the site is via South Caroline Street. The new bridge will provide a much-needed connection to the development site from Central Avenue and the streetscape improvements will help accommodate the increased traffic expected to come from commercial and residential growth of the area.
